Kiln-N-Time | Wheel Throwing

Learn to throw pottery on the wheel! Come prepared and bring your own towel and an open mind! Please don't wear good clothing or good shoes. This is a DIRTY activity.
ALL WHEEL LESSONS MUST BE BOOKED ONLINE! $50 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE IN ORDER TO CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION. You may only reschedule one (1) time after that you forfeit your deposit. BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS! BE PREPARED.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to throw beautiful pottery pieces on the wheel? We offer one-on-one wheel lessons with one of our skilled instructors. We teach you everything you need to know so that you will be proud to use and display your beautiful masterpieces. EACH PRICE IS PER PERSON! Please note: PLEASE ARRIVE 10-15 minutes before your scheduled lesson. DO NOT CALL to say you are running late. Your lesson will be cancelled and will have to be rescheduled.

After your lesson we only keep your items for 30-days, after that they will either be donated or discarded! Please make sure of the following:

No long acrylic gels or long nails, (nails should not exceed over the tip of your finger) no low cut tops, tieback for your long/medium hair and no open toed shoes! Bring your OWN towel!

Please do not call and try to schedule a lesson if you have LONG/Medium/Sport/Acrylic nails. Feel free to call us once you commit to cutting them or having them REMOVED. If you show up with nails your lesson will be rejected. Thank You!

Adult Wheel Lessons 1hr $80/2hr $160

Please bring your own TOWELS.

For a 1 Hr lesson you learn to make a bowl and a mug. It is an intense and not for the faint of heart BOOT CAMP Lesson. You will be taught how to center your clay and all the fundamentals needed in order to create a bowl, mug, vase, and a plate. You get to choose your best 3-4 pieces to be fired. We will glaze it in our standard studio blue. We will call you 3-weeks later to come in and pick up your pieces. Arrive 10-15 minutes early for your lesson. Lateness is not tolerated and is unacceptable.

DUE TO CUSTOMERS NOT COMING BACK TO FINISH PIECES IN A TIMELY MANNER, WE ARE NO LONGER OFFERING THE OPTION OF COMING IN AND PAINTING PIECES WE WILL GLAZE THEM IN THE 2 COLORS and YOU HAVE 30-days TO PICK UP OR THEY WILL BE DISCARDED. NO EXCEPTIONS

Kids Wheel Lesson

For only $80.00 (PER CHILD) your child (ages 14 to 18) can enjoy a one-on-one

1 hour wheel lesson. Your child will learn to wedge and center clay and all the fundametals to successfully achieve a bowl and a mug. In 3 weeks they will be called back to complete their items.

Mommy/Daddy & Me

For only $80.00 (per person) Mommy/Daddy & Child get one full hour to make a bowl and a mug together. Children must be ages 14-18 years of age to take it with their parent. All supplies provided. Experienced Potters & Sculptors. Bring your own towels

If you are already an EXPERIENCED potter and/or sculptor in clay, you could have studio time for $45.00 and $3.00 per lb of clay. You must BOOK ONLINE to reserve time. The studio fee includes bisque firing of 1 (one) piece of pottery, return trip to trim and glazing of one piece. If you have more than 1 piece, a fee of $15.99 (incl. 5 colors, glazing and firing) will be charged (example: 1 shelf full). Thanks

Please note: An experienced potter means you will not need a refresher course or assistance in making your pieces on the wheel. We always have accomplished potters in the studio at all times that will weigh out your clay and prepare your work station for use and enjoyment.
